Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

InfoPixiu, also known as 知识貔貅 in Simplified Chinese locales, is referred to as "the Software" in this policy. The Software is developed and operated by Kuibu Shanhai (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd. This policy explains how the Software handles data when you save, organize, and read web content. For privacy questions, complaints, or reports, contact us at support@infopiqiu.space.

1. Network Usage

  1. When you actively enter, paste, or share a web link and start saving it, the Software accesses that web page to extract text, images, and some media resources.
  2. Opening the original page, refreshing content, downloading page resources, or completing source-page verification may require network access.
  3. Successfully saved content can be viewed offline. Saving new pages, refreshing content, and some source-page verification steps require network access.
  4. The Software does not actively scan, batch-access, or collect third-party platform account assets in the background. Web page saving must be initiated by the user by entering, pasting, sharing a link, or actively triggering it while browsing.

2. Data Processed by the Software

  1. The Software currently does not provide a developer-operated account login system and does not actively collect registration information that identifies you.
  2. To support web page saving, organizing, and reading, the Software processes and stores on your device the web content, source links, tags, folders, and other local library information you choose to add.
  3. The Software processes app preferences such as language, theme, and storage location locally.
  4. The Software generates local runtime data used to display saved content, restore reading position, maintain indexes, and manage caches.

3. Data Storage

  1. Library data is currently processed and stored only on the user's device or in a local/public directory authorized by the user. The developer does not remotely collect, view, delete, or recover the user's library.
  2. If you choose a public storage location, your library may be stored in a user-authorized location such as /Documents/InfoPixiu, so you can back it up, move it, or sync it using third-party tools.
  3. If you sync or transfer data through third-party cloud drives, system sharing, browsers, or other external services, those services process the data under their own privacy policies. The Software cannot control their data handling practices.

4. What the Developer Does Not Do

  1. The Software does not provide a developer-operated cloud account or cloud sync service.
  2. The Software does not actively upload your local library to developer servers.
  3. The Software does not sell your personal data.
  4. The Software does not require account registration or login for the basic saving, organizing, and reading workflow.
  5. The Software does not upload third-party platform cookies, login states, or web session information to developer servers.
  6. The developer does not access, fetch, or save third-party platform content on behalf of users through developer-operated servers.
  7. If web page saving involves platform login, verification, or access state, that process occurs in the WebView/browser environment on the user's device.

5. Permissions and Purposes

  1. Network access: Used when you actively save web pages, open original pages, refresh content, download page resources, or complete source-page verification.
  2. File/storage access: Used to save your library, read saved content, migrate storage location, and rebuild the local index.
  3. Share entry: Used to receive links or text that you actively share from other apps.

6. Your Rights and Request Handling

  1. You can view, organize, and delete saved content in the app. If your library is stored in a public directory you authorized, you can also view, copy, or delete related files through system file management.
  2. If you believe local library information is inaccurate, you can adjust tags, folders, or other organization information in the app, or delete and save the content again.
  3. You can clear app data in system settings or uninstall the app to delete data in the app's private directory. Files in public directories must be deleted by you.
  4. You can withdraw your consent to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy in the Software settings page. After withdrawal, the app will exit and show the confirmation page again on next launch. Withdrawal does not automatically delete your local library.
  5. To learn about the Software's data handling rules, or to submit requests related to access, copying, deletion, consent withdrawal, privacy complaints, or reports, contact support@infopiqiu.space. We will accept and handle the request or provide an explanation within 15 working days.

7. Policy Updates

If this policy changes, the updated content will be displayed in the app. Continued use of the Software means you have read the updated policy.
